AI Boss newsletter
Edition
Your meeting ended. What happens next?
By Adrian Dunkley & the AI Boss team
From the 16 October 2026 edition. News, event dates and tool details reflect that edition.
Everyone agreed to “follow up”. Excellent. A task has now been assigned to absolutely nobody. Today, turn those notes into something your team can actually check.
01 / TOOL TIP · CHATGPT
Ask for the gaps, too
Paste a short, approved set of meeting notes into ChatGPT with the prompt below. Check each action against its source sentence. Then ask which owners and deadlines remain unconfirmed. Use ordinary text chat; account limits apply. Keep restricted information out.
| Approved notes | → | Evidence check | → | Confirm actions |
02 / PROMPT OF THE DAY · KEEP THIS Turn these notes into an action register. Use only the supplied text. Return: decision/action | exact supporting sentence | named owner | explicit deadline | question to resolve. Separate agreed actions from suggestions. Write “unconfirmed” for missing facts; never invent owners, dates or commitments. Preserve dates as written and flag ambiguous ones. Finish with a short follow-up draft asking participants to confirm gaps. Do not send it. |
03 / REDDIT PICK
One r/ChatGPT discussion describes an agent losing permissions; replies report mixed experiences. These are anecdotes. Our workplace adaptation: let AI draft branch-meeting actions or hotel handovers, then have the responsible person confirm them.

04 / TWO STORIES WORTH YOUR TIME
CARIBBEAN · EVENT SCHEDULE: 13–16 OCT 2026
AI collaboration, on Jamaica’s agenda
UTech’s Pan-African/Caribbean AI and Smart Systems Conference is scheduled through today. Its programme includes AI sovereignty and disaster modelling. Our takeaway: Caribbean teams can use the agenda to identify research partners around a specific local problem.
GLOBAL · ANNOUNCED AND RELEASED 15 OCT 2026
Meta releases Muse Spark Open
Meta released model weights and announced availability through hosted providers. Its licence has commercial conditions. Our takeaway: Caribbean buyers should compare hosting, licence terms and support costs before choosing a deployment. Downloadable weights alone do not establish data privacy.

AI Officer — Board level training
Bring StarApple AI your next investment decision. Discuss oversight, accountable owners and how to measure value before expanding a pilot. Start with the proposal your board actually needs to assess.

05 / AI BOSS SHOW & TELL
Tired of missing the mark with stakeholders?
This week, the AI Boss built a Board Meter with AI to assess document alignment with specific stakeholders.
Today’s Stakeholder Meter angle: check your follow-up against priorities people actually supplied. Make a table: stakeholder | stated priority | supporting passage | gap | proposed edit. Confirm priorities with them. Any ratings are review judgments, not predictions of approval.
